By changing the main pipe design to a straight 66φ inner diameter (70φ outer diameter), we successfully have increased the torque and power with a higher mid to top RPM range efficiency where the boost is applied. Consequently, you will feel significantly better throttle response and enjoy smooth and stress-free driving.
The material of the main pipe is 2mm thick SUS 304 stainless steel and it is meticulously hand-made one by one with a special bending pipe and flanges.
In the case of FK8, with a very high traction when shifting up and down and consequent not so small engine movement, the front pipe is subjected to a very heavy load.
In particular, the flange on the engine side becomes a critical weak point due to the intense heat and exhaust pressure. In order to resolve the problem, we created a unique 12mm thick milled flange to be used with the stock O ring gasket. You can re-use the stock O ring gasket.
Even after you replaced the stock exhaust with an aftermarket one, you can experience the notable benefits from the higher efficiency and enjoy the improved ride quality.
