The 2008 Touge Championship hosted by Hot Version DVD (Best Motoring DVD) is one of the most popular “battlefields” for street car tuning. Based on a tournament style format, the most famous Tuners in Japan compete for this Championship which features the best combination of power, handling, and drivability on a narrow and enclosed street race. The setting for this Series is to identify the very “best” tuned cars in their classifications. To accomplish that, (3) three Top Professional Race Drivers, and judges, Keiichi Tsuchiya, Akira Iida and Daisuke Ito were selected to eliminate a key variable in this race style, the Drivers. This enabled all Tuners and their cars an equal opportunity with very little outside variables.
J’s Racing participated in this battle with their S2000 which has been built as the ultimate street car. With its naturally aspirated 2.2 liter engine, competing for maximum horsepower is impossible feat against a turbo charged rival. Therefore, J’s Racing focused upon the best traction and handling using J’s Racing performance parts.
With an exquisite setting at this year’s Touge Championship, the best performing J’s Racing S2000 won the championship. “Congratulations to J’s Racing”. This proves once again that the performance parts released from J’s Racing are proven winners!
Other participating cars were the: Amemiya RX-7, Techno Spirit MR-S, Integral Kobe Roadstar, Spoon FD2, Fujita Engineering FD3S, Gallery S15, and MCR R35GT-R. See this exciting battle on Hot Version vol 93.
On May 18 at the Sendai Highland Raceway, J's Racing Team's Civic won the ST4 Class. It was a total team effort which brought J's Racing to the victory stand. The superb driving of Mr. Umemoto (president of J's Racing) and Mr. Kubota kept the car trouble free with consistent lap times.
One key factor which contributed to the win was braking performance concluded the J's Racing LAB. J's Racing collected valuable data on the FCR brake rotors in the first round. During the second round, J's Racing decided to use its 6 pods caliper kit to test the durability and effectiveness. Matched with the Seido-ya brake pads, the brake kit provided superior stopping power and outstanding durability including a reduction of "un-sprung" weight for an excellent showing.
J's Racing would like to extend their thanks to all of their fans and supporters. J's Racing has every intension to keep the momentum going forward and is aiming for another victory on at Third Round at the Fuji Speedway.
On April 27th, J's Racing completed the opening round of the Super Taikyu Series without any problems and would like to thank all the fans that were at the event for their support.
J's Racing Civic began the race from the 6th position and went through the 500km distance without any trouble, finishing at in the 5th position . The type S bumper, Type V hood, and GT wings were approved for the Super Taikyu Series. The FCR brake rotors proved its stability and durability and provided very valuable data to LABS team. J's Racing is already focused on their next race at Sendai and is working hard to fine tune the Civic for a run for a championship!
J's Racing will participate in this years’ Super Taikyu Series 2008 with their Civic Type R FD2 in the ST Class 4 division. J's Civic Type R has been in the development since last year and is now ready to race against their competition. The opening race will be at the Suzuka Circuit on April 26 and 27, 2008. This year's ST Class 4 division will definitely provide a very interesting battle with 6 Civic Type R and 4 Integra Type R (DC5) competing.
As is the J's Racing tradition of excellence, all critical data gained from the Series will be fed back to the J's Racing Research and Development group to ensure the creation of better performance parts. As you all remember, last year J's Racing participated in this Series with its S2000 in the ST class 3.

On April 4 & 5, 2008, J's Racing will participate in the "Nesso Exciting Car ShowDown 2008" at Port Messe Nagoya. (Nesso means very hotly contested driving). At the Option 2 booth, J's Racing will display their "Kusson S2000" which will race in the Super Taikyu Series this year. On another floor, J's Racing will exhibit their Civic FD2 street version. This will be a great opportunity to see these two highly tuned vehicles.
On April 5th, J's Racing's staff will be available at their booths to answer any of your questions on their cars, products, and their tuning services. There is an expected 100 tuned cars participating in this year's event along with numerous booths from the most famous tuning shops in Japan.

We exhibited the FD2 Civic Type R which was equipped with our carbon trunk and Tsuchinoko Intake system and our Fit GT which we plan to make the fastest Fit in the world.

J's Racing recently participated in the REVSPEED Tsukuba Super Battle with their Fit GT. The J's Racing Fit GT is equipped with a highly modified K24 which dyno-ed at 350 ps. In their practice round they were timed close to 1 min 2 sec flat, which was extremely quick for a Naturally Aspirated FF Car and beat a number of turbo race cars that were also participating. They were aiming for 1 min plus, but to their disappointment their transmission experienced problems which did not allow them to run our final laps. J's Racing is looking forward to the next Super Battle for their revenge!
